Gifts and benefits register
The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade gifts and benefits policy recommends that DFAT employees do not accept any gifts or benefits in their role as an employee. All employees and contractors must report gifts accepted in connection with their official duties within 14 days of receipt. The Australian Public Service Commission requires agency heads to publish a register of gifts and benefits they accept on their departmental or agency website on a quarterly basis.
In the course of my duties and the duties of my Deputy Secretaries, the following gifts and/ or benefits whose value exceeds the stipulated threshold of $AUD 100.00 (excluding GST) were received.
