This mid-term evaluation and management response reports on the work undertaken in the first half of the implementation period of GFDRR’s Strategy 2021-2025—and assesses progress to identify potential adjustments needed for the second half of the strategy period. 

The 2023-24 Australian NGO Cooperation Program (ANCP) Performance Snapshot presents aggregated data on program-wide performance, against agreed and common indicators. This snapshot provides a summary of key achievements and performance across the ANCP in 2023-24. This includes how ANCP has responded to Australian development program priorities, including locally led development, gender equality, disability inclusion and climate change.

In the face of increasing contestation and the rollback of hard-won progress, we reaffirm our commitment to gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls.

DFAT will be holding the Fiji Big Meet on Wednesday, 30 July 2025, 8.30am – 3:00pm at the Grand Pacific Hotel, Suva, Fiji.

The purpose of the independent mid-term review was to assess the effectiveness of program implementation and achievements under SPRINT IV, and to provide recommendations to inform future investment and program design.

DFAT will shortly approach the market around August/September 2025 for a contractor to carry out an Independent Strategic Review. This procurement will be conducted through a one-step procurement process (a Request for Tender), which will be publicly advertised on the AusTender website when it is released to the market.

This Guidance note provides advice on embedding First Nations Australian perspectives into Australia's international development programming, underpinned by the principles of the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous People (UNDRIP).
