DFAT will shortly approach the market around August/September 2025 for a contractor to carry out an Independent Strategic Review (ISR) of the Australia-Indonesia Knowledge Partnerships Platform (KONEKSI). This procurement will be conducted through a one-step procurement process (a Request for Tender), which will be publicly advertised on the AusTender website when it is released to the market. The contract value for the review process is up to AUD300,000 exclusive of GST.
KONEKSI is Australia’s flagship program in research, science and innovation in Indonesia that supports better use of knowledge-based solutions for inclusive and sustainable policies and technologies. KONEKSI advances partnerships between Australian and Indonesian knowledge organisations (e.g. universities, governments, NGOs, think tanks and the private sector) to produce innovative policy and technological solutions to address development challenges. It fosters people-to-people and institutional links in Australia and Indonesia.
The Contractor will be expected to provide a range of services related to:
- strategic evaluation/development evaluation
- expert advice on higher education, science and innovation both in Australia and Indonesia
- gender equality, disability and social inclusion expertise.
