The Australia–Tuvalu Development Partnership Plan 2025-2030 (DPP) translates into action Australia and Tuvalu’s shared development priorities. The DPP reflects the principles and priorities agreed in the Falepili Union and supports the focus areas outlined in Te Kete (Tuvalu's National Development Strategy).

The Hon Anthony Albanese MP, Prime Minister of Australia, and the Hon Jeremiah Manele MP, Prime Minister of Solomon Islands, released a Joint Statement announcing that Australia would provide a package of support to grow the size and capability of the Royal Solomon Islands Police Force (RSIPF).

Established by the Government of Papua New Guinea (PNG), the Health Services Improvement Program (HSIP) Trust Account (TA) is a funding mechanism intended to enable funds from the PNG Government and donors to be pooled and channelled towards PNG’s national and sub-national health sector priorities.

The Hon Anthony Albanese MP, Prime Minister of Australia and the Hon James Marape MP, Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea, have announced the entry into force of the Agreement Between the Government of Australia and The Government of Papua New Guinea on a Framework for Closer Security Relations.

The purpose of this agreement is to: reflect the Parties’ unique and longstanding relationship and elevate it to an integrated economic, social and security partnership; support Nauru’s resilience to provide an enduring, more stable and better future for Nauru and its citizens; and recognise, protect and promote each Party’s and the Parties’ collective security and sovereignty.

The Australian Sports Partnership Program (ASPP), now branded as Team Up, continues the Australian Government’s long history of investing in sport for development in the Indo-Pacific region.
