Australia and Germany work closely to advance bilateral, regional and multilateral cooperation. In June 2021 Australia and Germany convened the second 2+2 Ministerial Foreign and Security Policy Consultations to address key security and regional challenges.

Australia established diplomatic relations with Georgia in 1992. We share a constructive bilateral relationship. Australia supports Georgia's sovereignty and territorial integrity, including support for its resolutions in international organisations.

French Polynesia is a semi-autonomous French territory. The French State oversees certain competencies such as defence, foreign affairs, law and order, monetary policy, certain parts of tertiary education and research.

Australia and France work closely bilaterally and through regional and multilateral fora.

Australia and Finland share a commitment to democratic values, human rights, gender equality, green transition, disarmament, strengthening internationally agreed rules and norms and trade liberalisation.

The Republic of Fiji is an archipelago of 322 islands, with an Exclusive Economic Zone of 1.26 million square kilometres. According to the World Bank, Fiji's 2021 predicted population was 929,766. Suva is Fiji's capital. Fiji's major languages are English, Fijian and Hindi, and its major religions are Christianity, Hinduism and Islam.

The Federated States of Micronesia (FSM) — made up of the four island states of Yap, Chuuk, Pohnpei and Kosrae — has a population of approximately 112,600 people.

The Framework Agreement between the European Union (EU) and Australia was signed by then High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy/Vice-President of the European Commission, Federica Mogherini, and former Australian Minister for Foreign Affairs, Julie Bishop, at Manila, the Philippines, on 7 August 2017.

Australia and the European Union (EU) enjoy a substantial bilateral relationship built on a shared commitment to democratic values and a like-minded approach to a broad range of international issues.

Australia and Estonia share a commitment to democratic values, protecting human rights, gender equality, cyber security, defending the rules-based international order and trade liberalisation.
