UN Junior Professional Officer (JPO) Program

The JPO Program is an established program run by the UN and other multilateral organisations to provide young professionals with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in multilateral technical cooperation and international development.

Australia is investing $25.6 million over four years (2020-21 to 2023-24) to support Australian JPO placements at international institutions critical to Australia’s interests. The program is a whole-of-government initiative led by DFAT.
