This independent assessment reviews the performance of the Ministry of Health and Medical Services of Solomon Islands and Sector Wide Approach (SWAp) partners' performance against the 2017 Health Sector Support Program performance indicators. The findings form the basis of Australia's Performance Linked Funding to the Ministry.

This independent mid-term review assessed the performance of the Education Sector Program Skills for Economic Growth Component and is accompanied by the Management Response. The findings will inform Australia's current and future programming in the Solomon Islands TVET education sector.

This independent assessment reviews the performance of the Ministry of Education and Human Resources Development of Solomon Islands performance against the 2016 Education Sector Program 2 performance indicators. The findings form the basis of Australia's Performance Linked Funding to the Ministry.

This independent mid-term review assessed the relevance, efficiency and effectiveness of the Solomon Islands Growth Program (SIGP) as a consolidated program of activities. The findings will inform Australia's current and future programming in the Solomon Islands' economic growth sector. A Management Response will be published by the end of January 2019.

The COVID-19 Development Response Plan for Solomon Islands has been extended through 2022-23.

Australia is Solomon Islands' largest development partner, supporting all areas of society and the economy – from health, justice, and education, to infrastructure, labour mobility, private sector growth and agriculture. Our development program is our second largest in the Pacific, and third largest globally.

At Solomon Islands' request, Australia will deliver up to 200,000 paediatric COVID-19 vaccine doses, under Australia's pledge to support the Solomon Islands Government to administer COVID-19 vaccines to protect its citizens.

Minister for Foreign Affairs, Senator the Hon Penny Wong will travel to New Zealand and Solomon Islands to reinforce our close friendships and cooperation in our region. This is Penny's third visit to the Pacific since being sworn in last month.
