DFAT Conduct and Ethics Manual forms and schedules.

This chapter sets out how DFAT manages allegations of misconduct by Australian Public Service (APS) employees, former APS employees, Locally Engaged Staff (LES) and independent contractors working in DFAT.

This chapter sets out how to report alleged misconduct and criminal offences (including Australian exterritorial offences) in the department, elsewhere in the APS and by third parties.

We must all have a strong commitment to our professional conduct, with each of us sharing a responsibility to support and promote a culture that ensures an ethical and safe workplace. The Conduct and Ethics Manual is an important tool to help us meet this important objective and I commend it to you.
