Development

The following is a list of developing countries as declared by the Minister for Foreign Affairs for the purposes of the Overseas Aid Gift Deduction Scheme established by the Income Tax Assessment Act 1997.

Australian NGOs must be accredited by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade to be eligible for funding under the Australian NGO Cooperation Program (ANCP).

The ANCP is a unique Australian aid program. It is a partnership between the Australian Government and accredited Australian NGOs.
