The Australia Awards provide opportunities for Tuvaluan students to undertake full time undergraduate or postgraduate study at tertiary institutions in Australia and the Pacific.

Australian Volunteers program in Tonga

The Australia Awards in Tonga program provides scholarship opportunities for Tongans to study at the tertiary level in Australia and the region. Scholarships are focused on addressing Tonga's skills shortages in the fields of education, health, engineering, aviation, economics, and public sector management. 

Australia Awards are prestigious international scholarships offered by the Australian Government to the next generation of global leaders for development. Through study and research, recipients develop the skills and knowledge to drive change and help build enduring people-to-people links with Australia.

The Australia Awards provides Samoans with opportunities for tertiary study locally, and in Australia, and fosters people-to-people linkages. The program works in collaboration with Samoa’s Public Service Commission to ensure that scholarships on offer align with Samoa’s human resource capacity needs.

Australia Awards Pacific Scholarships (AAPS) provides opportunities to Pacific island recipients to study at selected Pacific regional institutions outside Australia.

Through Australia Awards, Nauruans take up scholarships to study abroad at selected Pacific regional institutions through the Australia Awards Pacific Scholarships program and at selected Australian institutions through the Australia Awards Scholarships program.
