Development assistance in Nauru
Overview
Through Australia Awards, Nauruans take up scholarships to study abroad at selected Pacific regional institutions through the Australia Awards Pacific Scholarships program and at selected Australian institutions through the Australia Awards Scholarships program. There are currently 39 Nauruans studying under the Australia Awards scholarship program.
To date, Australia Awards have supported graduates to take on technical and leadership roles in the Nauru government in areas such as nursing, law and justice, business management and accounting.
