Vietnam and Mekong Strategy (VMB)

Australia will support Vietnam’s efforts to become a modern, competitive economy by 2045 by enhancing private sector development, productivity and competitiveness and strengthening Vietnam’s innovation and digital capacity. 

The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade requests Activity Proposals for funding with eligible partners under the Mekong-Australia Partnership.

This evaluation reviews the contribution of partnerships to development and diplomacy outcomes from the Australia-Mekong Water Facility (AMWF) which was established through a grant agreement between DFAT and eWater Group to strengthen Australia’s engagement with Mekong countries in the water sector.

The Mekong-Australia Partnership aims to progress the goal of a more resilient and inclusive Mekong subregion that pursues joint solutions to shared and transboundary challenges.

Ponlok Chomnes is an AUD 5.8 million four-year program (March 2019 - June 2023) that aims to strengthen the capacity of knowledge sector institutions to undertake quality research that informs public policy analysis and dialogue
