This report contains the findings of the independent end-of-program evaluation of the Australia Awards and Alumni Engagement Program-Philippines (AAAEP-P), an eight-year (FY 2018–2026), $31 million program that offers scholarships, short courses, local scholarships, and alumni engagement activities to achieve shared development goals between Australia and the Philippines.

The Australian Government expresses its grave concern at, and stands by the Philippines in its response to, the dangerous and illegal actions by China’s vessels against Philippine vessels and crew taking part in a routine mission to Second Thomas Shoal, within the Philippines’ Exclusive Economic Zone, on 17 June.
