Dr Derek Bopping has been announced as Australia’s next Ambassador for Cyber Affairs, Artificial Intelligence and Critical Technology. They are fundamental to Australia’s national security and economic resilience, the protection and realisation of human rights and freedoms, global prosperity, sustainable development and international stability.

Ms Rachel Moseley has been annnounced as Australia’s next Ambassador for Arms Control and Counter-Proliferation. At a time of heightened global risk, the Ambassador for Arms Control and Counter-Proliferation plays a key role in advancing Australia's security interests and efforts to reduce the threat posed by weapons of mass destruction.

DFAT intends to approach the market to procure a managing contractor to deliver the flagship labour mobility and skills bilateral program in Timor-Leste.
