The 2024-25 Official Development Assistance (ODA) Budget Summary contains estimates of Australia’s ODA allocations by country, regional and global programs. In 2024-25 Australia will invest $4.96 billion in ODA to support regional and global sustainable development and help build a safer and more resilient world. 

The Fiji Recovery and Resilience Budget Support program was one component of the Pacific COVID-19 Fiscal and Budget Support package which provided fiscal support over a three-year period (2020-2023) to Pacific Island countries (including Fiji) and Timor-Leste.

DFAT will shortly go to market for a Delivery Partner to support the delivery of the IPEF Fund for Technical Assistance and Economic Cooperation (IFTAEC) over a three-year period (2024-27). 

The Teacher Development Multi-Year Studies were initiated by the Australian Government’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) to provide evidence about the impact of DFAT’s investments in teacher development and how teacher development investments can be more effective. 

Climate is central to Australia’s International Development Policy, and it is a key commitment that our development program responds to the calls of our region and evidence of the accelerating climate crisis by increasing our climate investments and better addressing climate risks.

Enhancing local SME participation in Pacific infrastructure business opportunities is an important objective of this event. 

The 2022-23 Australian NGO Cooperation Program (ANCP) Performance Snapshot presents aggregated data on program-wide performance, against agreed and common indicators.

Under Australia’s International Development Policy DFAT has committed to undertake an annual review of the quality and use of all evaluations listed on the Development Evaluation Plan. A Review of Evaluation Quality and a separate Review of Evaluation Use was completed in 2023.
