Summary of Publication
Australia supported the Eliminating Barriers to Inclusive and Sustainable Growth program in Sri Lanka delivered by the World Bank between 2017 and 2024 to the value of $14.5 million. The program worked in areas including trade policy and facilitation, the investment climate, fiscal policy and improving the governance and performance of state-owned enterprises. This evaluation, commissioned by Colombo Post in 2024 assesses the relevance, effectiveness, and efficiency of the program, providing options and recommendations for future investment.
