This report is based on the second round of a quantitative survey conducted in February-March 2021 on COVID-19 Impacts on People with Disabilities in Indonesia. Data collection was led by the Organisation for People with Disabilities (OPD) Network for More Inclusive COVID-19 Response, with support from the Government of Indonesia through the Ministry of National Development Planning (BAPPENAS), and the Australian Government through two development cooperation programs, Towards a Strong and Prosperous Indonesian Society (MAHKOTA) and the Australia-Indonesia Partnership for Justice (AIPJ2).

Australia's economic engagement with India is underpinned by the India Economic Strategy (IES), which was authored by Mr Peter Varghese, former Secretary of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (2012-2016) and High Commissioner to India (2009-2012). The IES was presented as an independent report to the Australian Government in July 2018. In November 2018, the Australian Government released its response to the IES setting out an initial implementation plan.

Antivenom Partnership saving lives in PNG

A successful partnership between the Australian Government, Papua New Guinea’s Department of Health and Australian company Seqirus has been extended by two years to 2023, having helped to save more than 500 lives over the last three years.
