The design of the Timor-Leste Police Development Program (TLPDP) outlines how in Phase 4 of this program Australia will help the Timor-Leste’s National Police service (Policia Nacional de Timor-Leste or PNTL) to deliver skilled and professional policing services, which respond effectively to community needs, and contribute to a stable and secure Timor-Leste.
The design includes Australia’s rationale for supporting PNTL and the activities Australia will support. It provides analysis on how Australian support will meet the Australian Government’s design quality standards, including how Australia will manage risk and performance issues.
