Summary of publication

The Secretariat of the Pacific Regional Environment Program (SPREP) is the Pacific regional organisation mandated to lead on environmental and climate change issues. Australia, through Australia’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and Australia’s Department of Climate Change, Energy, Environment and Water (DCCEEW) hold a Partnership with SPREP for all activities including core and non-core funding to SPREP.

The MTR presents insights and findings of the progress of the grant arrangements that sit under the Partnership between 2021 – 2025. The MTR includes recommendations for the Australian Government and SPREP to take forward into future funding arrangements.

The Management Response outlines planned actions by Australia in response to the MTR’s recommendations.
