Summary of publication
In December 2024, DFAT commissioned an independent evaluation of the Kiribati Australia Skills for Employment Partnership (KASfEP).
KASFEP is a ten-year (2016-2026), AUD 49 million program, designed to develop a more capable, qualified and mobile I-Kiribati workforce. KASfEP has supported the Kiribati Institute of Technology (KIT) in developing a skilled workforce for both local and international labour markets. KASfEP was implemented in three phases: Kiribati Facility Phases I, II and III, which respectively sought to support inception and foundational training; inclusion and accreditation; and consolidation and sustainability.
