Summary of publication
The Pacific COVID-19 Response Package (the package) aims to support economic recovery from the pandemic in the Pacific and Timor-Leste. This independent review was undertaken to assess progress on the implementation of the package. The recommendations made in this review informed the design of future Australian support to the Pacific and Timor-Leste. In evaluating the implementation of the package, this review analysed economic, fiscal, social and aid data, program documentation, and interviewed several stakeholders from across the Pacific over a two-month period.

Summary of management responses
DFAT welcomes the review findings and recommendations, which were critical to informing the design of future Australian support to the Pacific and Timor-Leste. Of the fifteen recommendations, DFAT agreed to thirteen and partially agreed to two.
