The New Colombo Plan Mobility Program
The New Colombo Plan Mobility Program provides funding to Australian universities and consortia to support Australian undergraduate students to participate in semester-based or short-term study, internships, mentorships, practicums and research in 40 host locations across the Indo-Pacific region.
The Mobility Program is open to Australian university undergraduates aged 18 to 28, with capacity to include some students over 28.
2021 New Colombo Plan Mobility Grants
Applications for the 2021 Round of the New Colombo Plan Mobility Program are now closed.
It is expected that applications for the 2022 New Colombo Plan Mobility Program will open in March 2021.
Virtual Delivery of New Colombo Plan Mobility Projects
To support New Colombo Plan students' ongoing engagement with the Indo-Pacific while travel restrictions are in place, Government has agreed to online delivery of elements of the New Colombo Plan.
Australian universities can refer to the ISEO resource centre for details on submitting variations.
