The New Colombo Plan Mobility Program
The New Colombo Plan Mobility Program provides funding to Australian universities and consortia to support Australian undergraduate students to participate in semester-based or short-term study, internships, mentorships, practicums and research in 40 host locations across the Indo-Pacific region.
The Mobility Program is open to Australian university undergraduates aged 18 to 28, with capacity to include some students over 28.
2020 New Colombo Plan Mobility Grants
The Minister for Foreign Affairs and Minister for Women, Senator the Hon Marise Payne, and the Minister for Education, the Hon Dan Tehan MP, have announced the successful applicants for the 2020 New Colombo Plan Mobility Program. In the 2020 Mobility Program round, the New Colombo Plan will support 11,196 students from 40 Australian universities to participate in projects in 36 locations across the Indo-Pacific.

It is expected that applications for the 2021 New Colombo Plan Mobility Program will open in March 2020.
