The Australian Government will provide an estimated $29.8 million in total ODA to the Palestinian Territories (PTs) in 2020-21. Australia’s development cooperation with the PTs is a demonstration of our practical and genuine commitment to the Palestinian people. Australia remains committed to a two-state solution in which Israel and a future Palestinian state coexist in peace and security, within internationally recognised borders.
Australia has a long history of supporting Palestinians. Palestinian Territories COVID-19 Development Response Plan 2020-2021 and 2021-22 sets out the priorities for the PTs development program in the COVID-19 context. These priorities aim at contributing to stability in the PTs.
