Summary of publication

The objective of the multi-donor trust fund is to support countries in strengthening their health systems to contribute to universal health coverage, with a particular focus on assessing and supporting the financial and institutional sustainability of donor-financed health programs.

This Concept Note details the objective, context, proposed activities and expected results under Window 1, which aims to support the financial and institutional sustainability of national disease programs that are currently dependent on externally financed health programs (such as the Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria). Window 1 is operating in Indonesia, Solomon Islands, Papua New Guinea, Vanuatu and Kiribati.
