Summary of publication
The document outlines the progress and recommendations from Australia's $2.5m TVET Roadmap program which was implemented over two stages: Roadmap I and II. The program commenced from 2011 – 2015 and focused on post school secondary education and training. The development goal of the TVET program is increased employability of Samoan women and men, including those with disability through quality assured post-secondary training in areas of demand. The program goal is to improve student outcomes (jobs, wages, productivity, further study) and increased employer satisfaction with TVET. There are five TVET program key results areas (i) TVET Program management; (ii) Economic Relevance; (iii) Quality; (iv) Access; and (v) Financial Efficiency, are all aligned to Samoa's Education Sector Plan goals.
