Summary of publication
This report summarises progress in the Australian Government's aid program to Pakistan in 2012–13.
Although Pakistan's security challenges and political context has made it difficult to deliver aid, the Australian Government's support has continued to make a difference in key areas–particularly maternal, newborn and child health, early childhood education, agricultural productivity and humanitarian assistance. Australia's support has also contributed to strengthening the electoral system, including recent national and provincial elections, which were considered a success by the international community.
