Nauru Aid Program Performance Report 2016-17

Summary of publication

In 2016-17 Australia's total official development assistance to Nauru was $22.4 million.

Australia's development cooperation program in Nauru supports the objectives of a socially stable and economically resilient Nauru that has effective and accountable public sector management, invests in nation-building infrastructure, and quality education and health services. Of this $19.2 million was delivered through DFAT's bilateral program and the remainder through Pacific regional programs, and other government departments such as the Australian Federal Police and Attorney-General's Department. This report summarises the performance of Australia's aid program in Nauru against the jointly agreed objectives above.
