This is a management response to the independent completion report (ICR) for the Australia East Timor Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Program (RWSSP), known locally as 'Bee, Saneamentu no Ijene iha Komunidade', or BESIK. Fieldwork for the evaluation took place in August 2012.

AusAID considers the evaluation to be of good quality and that it has addressed the Terms of Reference thoroughly. The report was also consistent with the Evaluation Plan and used case studies which were very useful in drawing out key issues. AusAID has taken the ICR recommendations for consideration in BESIK phase 2 and responds to each of the 21 recommendations in this document.
