Description
This document is the management response to the Independent Completion Report of the Basic Education Sector Program in Sri Lanka. Overall, AusAID is happy with the findings and supportive of the recommendations of the report. The team correctly identified the issues and this helped them to develop pertinent findings. The team looked beyond the BESP and considered other activities functioning in Sri Lanka and pointed out several critical aspects which affect sustainability.
