Description

In 2011 the Australian Government partnered with 18 eligible Australian NGOs and two eligible Australian UN appeals pledging to match dollar-for-dollar funds raised from the Australian community, in order to invigorate public awareness and public giving to Australian NGO Emergency Appeals for the Horn of Africa. The Horn of Africa Dollar for Dollar Initiative Consolidated Project Plan January 2012 to June 2013, outlines the organisation, country/region, key sectors and expected beneficiaries, outcomes and results as provided to AusAID by each participating organisation to seek financial support for their activity.
