Summary of publication

This paper examines the barriers to women seeking and using birth friendly facilities in the sub-districts of Fatuberliu, Maubara, and Remexio (Timor-Leste). The paper outlines how facilities are used, what barriers exist and views on future use possibilities. It also includes recommendations to inform national policy and practice regarding birthing facilities. (Tetun version)
