This is a consultation paper on performance benchmarks for the Australian aid program.
Description
The Minister for Foreign Affairs is committed to developing rigorous performance benchmarks for the Australian aid program to ensure it delivers effective and efficient outcomes in the national interest. Consultations are being held with key stakeholders to build on the knowledge and experience of Australia's development partners and ensure that the process of developing performance benchmarks is open and transparent.
This consultation paper has been prepared by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade as an input to these consultations. Written submissions are invited and should be sent to development.results@dfat.gov.au no later than Thursday 20 February 2014.
