Summary

This report examines terms and conditions of employment for Australian Government officials deployed as advisers under the Australian aid program.

Description

AusAID manages Australia's development assistance program and is accountable to the Minister for Foreign Affairs and the Parliament for ensuring that Australian aid is delivered effectively and in a manner which demonstrates value for money.

In order to track progress on adviser use against the reform agenda, AusAID will regularly analyse trends, providing information on adviser numbers and remuneration levels as well as on their geographical location, sectoral focus, nationality and gender.
