DFAT intends to approach the market for a managing contractor to implement the PNG Secondary Education Program (PSEP) investment.
The PSEP has been designed as a new $25m (plus GST) investment to be implemented over four years. The Goal is to support future leaders, stability and prosperity by improving education at PNG’s high-performing secondary schools. The Objective is that students at participating high-performing upper secondary schools have improved learning outcomes and leadership capabilities.
DFAT anticipates the approach to market will be through a one-step procurement process (a Request for Tender) in Quarter 2 of 2024/2025. DFAT is seeking applications from a wide pool of applicants and welcomes innovative approaches that responds to the program’s requirements. The proposed procurement will be listed on the AusTender website once released.
