DFAT has a requirement for a new Australia Awards Indonesia (AAI) program. This requirement is scheduled to last eight years until 31 March 2030.
The AAI program will provide tertiary scholarships for Indonesians to study in Australia, as well as short courses in both Indonesia and Australia. The overarching goals of AAI will be to support Indonesia to achieve its development goals through education and knowledge transfer, and to build an enduring relationship between Indonesia and Australia that advances mutual interests.
A contract for services under the program is expected to be in place in the first quarter of 2022.
