Proposed program in Indonesia — Indonesia-Australia Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement Economic Cooperation Program (ECP) — Investment Concept

An Investment Concept for a proposed new program – the Indonesia-Australia Economic Partnership Agreement (IA-CEPA) Economic Cooperation Package (ECP) – is provided for the information of the market and prospective tenderers.

It is likely that DFAT will require a Contractor to provide management services for parts or the whole ECP. If approved, the proposed procurement will be listed on the AusTender website when it is released to market.

DFAT welcomes feedback on the investment concept by COB Wednesday 16 October 2019. Comments can be sent in the requested format to Tender-IACEPA-economiccooperationprogram@dfat.gov.au. The format for feedback is indicated in the attachment: 'IA-CEPA ECP Market Feedback Form'. We ask that this form is used to complete feedback. We will use the feedback to inform the ongoing design of ECP. DFAT will not respond to the feedback provided individually but share general findings at an industry briefing.

DFAT will hold an industry briefing on IA-CEPA ECP at a later date, following completion of the design. Parties can register their early interest by emailing Tender-IACEPA-economiccooperationprogram@dfat.gov.au. Further information will be provided via this website closer to the date.

This information is provided for planning purposes only and it does not represent solicitation or constitute a request for proposal, nor is it a commitment to purchase or tender for any described services. It reflects only early thinking on the ECP. The scale, scope and focus of any proposed program may change at any time and is subject to formal approval by the Australian and Indonesian Governments before any procurement process will commence. It is also tied to the ratification and implementation of the IA-CEPA. Should a procurement commence, we anticipate commencing on or after entry into force of IA-CEPA. This information is subject to delays, revision or cancellations.
