Investment Design – South East Asia Investing in Women Initiative

The Investment Design for the Investing in Women Initiative in South-East Asia is provided for the information of the market and prospective tenderers. Women's economic empowerment is a priority for the Australian Government and the Investing in Women Initiative will work with the private sector to achieve the following outcomes:

  1. More businesses achieve gender equity in their workplaces
  2. Impact Investment in women SMEs has increased
  3. National policy makers and regulators remove barriers to women's economic empowerment
  4. Public attitudes are more supportive of women's economic empowerment

This proposed investment will focus on Indonesia, Vietnam, the Philippines and Burma. This investment design proposes a four year program (2015/16 to 2018/19) with an option to extend for a further four years.

Attached is the draft investment design documentation. Publication of the Request for Tender (RFT) is imminent, and potential bidders should watch AusTender for release.
