Trade statistical pivot tables

An accompanying range of tables for DFAT’s trade statistical publications have been released in pivot table format using MS Excel, a tool that enables users to easily access trade time series data. All users with access to MS Excel 2007 or 2020 will be able to download the pivot tables.

SITCr4

Australia's exports and imports by all countries and selected country groups using the United Nations' Standard International Trade Classification revision 4 (SITCr4) at the 3-digit level. Yearly time series data is available from 2005-06 to 2022-23. Annual time series data is available from 2006 to 2022. Due to size limits the State/Territory pivot table is limited to the latest ten years of data.

TRIEC

Australia's exports and imports by all countries and selected country groups using DFAT's Trade Import Export Classification (TRIEC) at the 1-, 2-, 3- and 4-digit levels – ie trade data by Primary products and Manufactured products such as Simply transformed manufactures (STM) and Elaborately transformed manufactures (ETM). Export data is also split between total exports and Australian produced exports (Australia level only). Yearly time series data is available from 1989–90 to 2022–23. Annual time series data is available from 1990 to 2022.

AHECC/HTISC

Australia's merchandise exports and imports data at the most detailed level published by the Australian Bureau of Statistics. The export pivot table presents total Australian exports using the Australian Harmonised Export Commodity Classification (AHECC) at the 2 ,4, 6 and 8 digit level. The imports pivot table presents total Australian imports using the Harmonised Tariff Item Stat-key Classification (HTISC) at the 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10 digit level. Annual time series data is available from 2007 to 2022. Financial time series data is available from 2006–07 to 2022–23. Due to the size of these datasets partner country and state/territory level data could not be included.
