The Australia-United States Free Trade Agreement contains
dispute settlement provisions in Chapter 21 which apply with
respect to the avoidance or settlement of all disputes between the
Parties regarding the interpretation or application of the
Agreement.
As required in this Chapter, Australia and the United States
have agreed Model Rules of Procedure for this Chapter,
including Appendices, and a Code of Conduct applicable to panellists and possible panellists listed on a contingent list.
