Australia’s support for the COVID-19 vaccine roll out in the Pacific and Timor-Leste has today provided an initial delivery of 20,000 Australian-manufactured vaccines from our national stocks to Timor-Leste. We have also sent further much-needed medical supplies to support Timor-Leste’s COVID-19 response. 

Australia will deliver essential medical supplies to India today as part of our initial package of support to the Indian Government’s programme for combatting the country’s current COVID-19 outbreak.

Ms Emily Luck will be Australia’s next High Commissioner to Samoa. Ms Luck will also be accredited to American Samoa.

Ms Claire Scott will be Australia’s first resident Consul-General in Papeete, French Polynesia.

Mr Brek Batley will be Australia’s first resident Ambassador to the Republic of the Marshall Islands (RMI). Australia’s new diplomatic mission in Majuro reflects our ongoing commitment to a resilient and prosperous Pacific. 

Ms Adelle Neary will be Australia’s next Consul-General in Chengdu.
