Sam Pearn-Rowe, a graduate of Chemical Engineering, Curtin University, knew little about India before visiting for the first time in 2016 to undertake a six-month New Colombo Plan (NCP) Student Mobility Program. Three years on, he is a frequent visitor, taking advantage of the second largest start-up ecosystem in the world.

New Colombo Plan Alumni Ambassador Rund Alnasser says being awarded a mobility grant to study in Vietnam and Singapore changed her perspective on her future career path. 

For 2019 NCP Fiji Scholar, Naomi Joyce, her scholarship experience strengthened her passion for innovation, boosted her confidence in working in unfamiliar settings, and enabled her to gain invaluable work-ready skills.
