Australia and Papua New Guinea have agreed to join forces to create an efficient and accessible carbon market under the Australian Government’s Indo-Pacific Carbon Offsets Scheme. 

The Multilateral Placements Program, including the UN Junior Professional Officer (JPO) Program, provides multilateral organisations with funding to place Australian professionals in positions across the multilateral system.

Australia is further increasing its international climate finance commitment to $2 billion over the next five years to support developing countries in our region as they tackle the impacts of climate change.

Australia and the Republic of Korea will work together to drive increased adoption of low and zero emissions technologies through a new Australia-Republic of Korea Low and Zero Emissions Technology Partnership.

Indonesia and Australia acknowledge that reducing greenhouse gas emissions is a global challenge. We share ambition to address this challenge through cooperation and collaboration to develop, finance, deploy, and share affordable low emissions technologies and support infrastructure that will assist our respective transition to lower emission economies and maintain and enhance our energy security.
