Representatives from Australia, the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM), Japan, Kiribati, Nauru and the United States of America met today to push forward the delivery of the East Micronesia Cable project.

Australia's Foreign Minister and the President of Nauru met in Sydney to discuss further steps to deepen the close and enduring bilateral partnership between our two countries, and our shared commitment to strong and unified regional institutions.

Investing in Infrastructure ('3i') is an innovative approach in the infrastructure sector. We are working with the private sector to help companies connect households and businesses to utilities and other services, and to support new opportunities for trade-related businesses and industries.

SARIC is an Australian Government funded $32 million initiative that started implementation in early 2020.
