Development assistance

Indonesia Australia Partnership for Infrastructure (KIAT) is a ten-year Facility that supports the Government of Indonesia’s goal of sustainable and inclusive growth through improved access to quality infrastructure for all people. KIAT provides technical assistance and advisory services to improve infrastructure policy, planning and delivery in response to agreed priorities.

BANGGA Papua (Building the Welfare of Papuan Generations and Families) is a universal child grant program, initiated by the Papua Provincial Government using its Special Autonomy (Otonomi Khusus, Otsus) Fund. Australia’s KOMPAK and MAHKOTA development assistance programs supported the development and implementation of the program.

The DFAT-funded program Towards a Strong and Prosperous Indonesian Society (MAHKOTA) commissioned an evaluation to investigate, document, and communicate its contribution to the development and content of supporting government regulations to the National Disability Law (Law No. 8/2016), specifically the government regulation (peraturan pemerintah: PP) on the provision of social welfare (PP. No.52/2019 for people with disability and the PP on the provision of habilitation and rehabilitation services for people with disability (PP. no.70/2020).
