Summary
This report highlights a decade of partnership between the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and the Asian Development Bank’s Trade and Supply Chain Finance Program (TSCFP), showcasing how targeted Aid for Trade can strengthen financial systems and expand access to global markets. Since 2015, the partnership has supported over USD 60 billion in trade and more than 120,000 transactions, helping banks in developing countries build the capability, confidence and compliance needed to support cross-border trade. It has also played a key role in improving financial integrity, managing risk, and responding to global disruptions, including strengthening supply chain resilience and maintaining access to trade during periods of crisis.
