New Romance / ë´ ë¡ë§¨ì¤ is an exhibition produced in collaboration between the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia (MCA) and the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art Korea (MMCA). After its presentation at the MMCA in Seoul, the exhibition will be presented in a new format at the MCA in Sydney.
New Romance / ë´ ë¡ë§¨ì¤ brings together 14 artists from Australia and Korea whose works encourage us to question what it means to be human today and what it might mean in the future. Drawing inspiration from science fiction, biology, psychology, robotics, consumer technologies and social media, they reimagine our place in the world as one intelligent life-form among many.
