The Australia-Korea Foundation encourages those with links to Korea, whether in business or academia, to help create networks to see more Australian undergraduates successfully studying and undertaking internships in Korea.
Those at Australian universities with close contacts in Korea can introduce those preparing New Colombo Plan applications to relevant contacts in Korean universities and businesses. Involvement with the New Colombo Plan, as a signature Australian Government initiative, could provide another area of engagement under existing Memorandum of Understanding or could facilitate the development of new collaborations with Korean universities. University staff and undergraduate students interested in the 2016 round should contact their faculty or the international liaison office.
The AKF's Study in Korea webpage provides links to prestigious Korean universities offering courses in Korean and English across a range of disciplines as well as stories from Australian students in Korea, with photographs, blogs and you-tube videos providing insights into life in contemporary Korea.
