Project Description

A project is planned for the exchange of information about, and collaboration on, gifted STEAM programs between researchers and teachers in Australia and Korea.

The project will be undertaken by the Gifted Education Research, Resource and Information Centre (GERRIC), which is part of the School of Education at The University of New South Wales (UNSW), Sydney Australia and the Global Institute For Talented Education (GIFTED) at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), South Korea. The researchers in both countries will hold seminars on gifted STEAM programs in Australia and Korea, conduct visits of gifted schools in both countries, and develop refined gifted STEAM programs for secondary schools in Australia and Korea.

It is hoped that this project will promote the mutual awareness and understanding of Australian and Korean gifted STEAM programs among researchers and teachers in the two countries.
