Summary
Compares the institutional landscape of Indonesia's knowledge sector to five other middle-income countries.
Description
This study synthesises comparative snapshots of institutional landscapes of knowledge sectors in five middle-income countries – Brazil, Mexico, the Philippines, Malaysia and Singapore. The primary purpose is to help Indonesian stakeholders consider issues that have arisen in these places as they design a knowledge sector unique to Indonesia's circumstances. The study suggests the synthesis might also sow seeds for future study missions by Indonesians to some of the countries covered.
