Description

SPRINT Bridge II Reporting (AFRICA) outlines how the four objectives of SPRINT ARO were executed during the period of January- June 2012. Activities under Objective 1: Capacity building of Key Stakeholders included the facilitation of Training of Trainers workshop where participants were from MoH, NGOs, Universities and Civil Societies from six African countries. Objective 2: Maintaining the Secretariat in IPPF Africa Regional Office was met with three positions being maintained. Activities under Objective 3: Raising awareness included visiting six countries and developing action plans with the countries SPRINT co-ordination teams. Activities under Objective 4: Responding to crisis included implementing emergency response projects in Ethiopia, Kenya and Republic of Congo.
